Share drawings, dimensions, known weights and site photos when available. For manufactured equipment or materials, reliable load information matters.
We coordinate the lifting scope, setup area and communication with the people involved. A crane booking is not a substitute for confirming site feasibility.

What is being lifted, its verified weight and dimensions, suitable lifting points, and where it needs to go.
Reach & clearance
Distance from the setup position to the load and landing area, plus overhead wires, buildings and other obstructions.
Ground & setup
Access route, slope, supporting surface, outrigger space, buried features and any traffic or neighbor-access constraints.

Who will receive or position the load, site readiness, communication, weather and the agreed work sequence.
Property protection
A good setup protects more than the lifting area.
We consider equipment travel, setup space and the path of the load. Ground-protection mats can help manage traffic impacts where appropriate, while the crane’s supporting surface still needs a site-specific assessment.
Point out underground tanks, septic systems, utilities, irrigation and other hidden features. Wet soil or unsuitable ground may require a different setup or schedule.
For tree removals, the plan also includes wood processing, loading and debris handling. Stump grinding is a separate scope item to discuss.

What to know before requesting a lift
Is crane-assisted tree removal right for every large tree?
No. Tree condition, access, reach, utilities, ground support and the landing area determine whether crane assistance is appropriate. Climbing, aerial access or other removal methods may be a better fit for some properties.
Can you lift 38 tons at the end of a 127-foot boom?
No such capacity should be assumed. Maximum crane rating is not the capacity at every radius or configuration. Actual permissible loads come from the applicable load chart and lift plan, with the site conditions considered.
Can a crane remove a tree from a backyard without driving into it?
Sometimes, if a suitable setup position, load radius and clear lifting path are available. The crane still needs an appropriate supporting surface and setup space. We assess the property before confirming this approach.
Do you offer crane lifting for projects unrelated to trees?
Yes. We review contractor, commercial, residential, agricultural and specialty lifting requests, including equipment, trusses, materials and grain-bin-related projects. Every request is assessed for safe and practical execution.
What information do you need for a quote?
Share the site location, what needs to be lifted, reliable weight and dimensions when known, starting and final positions, photos, access details and the desired schedule. For tree work, photos of the tree and surrounding property help the initial review.
Can crane work take place near power lines?
Overhead lines require specific planning and may require utility coordination or a different setup. Do not assume a lift can proceed because the boom or load appears to fit. We review the hazards before confirming the work.
Is cleanup included with a crane-assisted tree removal?
Brush, wood removal, retained firewood and stump grinding should be defined in the tree-removal quote. Contractor lifting is a different service scope and does not automatically include tree work or debris hauling.
